Carpool Locations in Tahoe Basin

Many of the area we run have limited parking and/or are more than 30 minutes away from the Stateline area. We try to carpool to reduce pollution and spare some parking spaces for others. Besides, it's a great way to chat with your running friends for awhile!

We meet at the Burger King on Highway 50 between Kingsbury Grade and Kahle Park.

Take US HWY 50 towards Sacramento in Myers. Lira's Market is on your left, a short ways after the lights at Pioneer Trail. We park in the spots furthest away from Lira's at the west end of the lot.

We meet at Miller's Outpost at the "Y" (Emerald Bay Rd at Highway 50). We park closer to Emerald Bay Road, near Mikasa.

Take US HWY 50 towards Carson City and pass the traffic lights at Elks Club Rd in Round Hill. Turn into the Safeway Parking lot where the sign indicates Visitor Information, immediately before the Shell Station. Park up on the left, at the extreme north end of the parking lot.
