DESCRIPTION

Runs vary from 3 to 5 mile loops either starting up through the woods to Round Hill or shorter trails around Rabe Meadow to the lake. Rabe Meadow trails are all single-track dirt. The Round Hill loop includes a small section of paved bike path and another section of road. Views of the lake from the beach are wonderful.

The Rabe Meadow portion of this run is leash-free dog friendly with the exception of the campground and beach area during summer months. Be prepared to meet A LOT of other dogs!

There is a bathroom by the Community Center and several in the Nevada Beach campground during summer months only.

Take US HWY 50 out of Stateline towards Carson City. Turn Right (away from the lake) up Kahle Drive (next lights after Kingsbury Grade) and park at the top of the hill by the Community Center. Occasionally we park down by Rabe Meadow, in which case, turn Left (towards the lake) onto Kahle Drive and park immediately on your right in a little (4 car?) dirt lot by the Rabe Meadow trailhead.
