50-MILER SAFETY RUNNERS

Safety runners are allowed beginning at the Diamond Peak aid station for the 50-Mile event. This is the first (and only) aid station accessible by car. It's roughly at the "half-way" point of the 50-Miler.

50-Mile safety runners will abide by the same rules as the 100-Mile safety runners. Safety runners must check in with our registration staff prior to the event and will be required to sign a waiver, complete a Medical Form and will be issued a pacer bib number. This will help us make sure they are readily identifiable by our aid station staffs, make sure we have enough food and beverage on the course for everyone, account for their safety in the same manner as our registered runners. For information regarding safety runners please see 100-MILE INFO.

DROP BAG INFORMATION

50-MILE DROP BAGS: 50-Mile runners can have drop bags delivered to the Tunnel Creek and Diamond Peak aid stations. Onset of Hypothermia is one of the leading causes of drops at night!
